I haven’t worked with this lovin’ family since little A was less than a year old! Now she’s all big girl and helping to take care of her little brother. We had a postponement or two because of the erratic Charlotte weather and wanting to do an outdoor session but boy was it worth it… it ended up being a perfect fall morning session!! Just look at that sunlight!!! I love being a family photographer and watching families and children grow. It makes you appreciate your own too. Time goes by too fast sometimes.
Thank you so much B family!!
There is something very special about this family. A family of five, they share a very deep love for one another and respect of traditions and faith. Being in their presence was calming and their kindness and joy infiltrated my heart!
When I am photographing a family, I like to explore the relationships within the family through pictures. This was my favorite part of working with these children. The love and friendship that the older brothers shared was inspiring, and their adoration for their baby sister was so sweet! There was no lack of hugs or stories during this shoot. I also love that mom and dad wanted to be sure to include special portraits of just them. They have done a beautiful job raising these three children and should be very proud of their family!
Thank you F family
What a beautifully perfect fall photo session for the D family! They have lots to celebrate– little A’s second birthday as well as a new baby on the way. We had a perfect Charlotte autumn day– the trees are still green but there is a hint of goldenness in the air. It felt so good to all of us.
Little A absolutely stole my heart! Look at that face! She loves to walk her doggie, and make all of her own decisions! Her independent spirit reminded me of my own daughter when she was that age, which made me feel an immediate bond with her.
We had such a great session.. thank you again D family!!! I can’t wait to meet baby!
This beautifully, perfectly blended family wanted their portraits made at Charlotte’s Freedom Park, which is one gorgeous location. What a fun family! S, the older towheaded brother, is incredibly smart and loves Star Wars. We found a few sticks that were pretty much perfectly light-saber-esque during our shoot. What melted me was the adoration that he showed his little brother, who everyone called Buddha. What a perfect name for a happy, roly poly baby! He seemed very “zen” about the whole photo shoot indeed!! :) Big bro S helped me in lots of ways, making baby Buddha smile, scouting locations, and of course finding light sabers…
It went incredibly smoothly and perfectly, maybe because I happened to be working with such an enlightened baby.
Thank you SO much beautiful B family!!!! I enjoyed meeting you and creating these gorgeous pictures.
After working with this beautiful Charlotte family last fall, I fell in love with little L. Her long eyelashes, pretty smile and spunky little spirit. She is a remarkable little girl, extremely affectionate and full of love. I was thrilled that her beautiful mama called me for another family photo shoot and wanted to do something different. We chose to work in Fort Mill, around some of the brick walls and in a pretty field. Little L was so much fun to photograph– she had her own ideas on where to go and what to do. Luckily, whatever she was doing, she was perfectly adorable doing it!
I can’t wait until our next session G family… It will be extra special indeed! ;)
