a trip to columbia for some post wedding photos…

I am secretly in love with this couple.  I wonder sometimes if they could adopt me.  Maybe that’s a bit psycho but I really do love them and want to take pictures of them every day.  You may remember their beautiful October wedding.  Well, we met up in Columbia, their stomping grounds and David’s home town, to do some fun and fancy post-wedding portraits. They were just dying to dress up again and I wanted to get some super special shots of just the two of them.  We really did a tour of Columbia, I never knew what an interesting city it was.  Lots of art and history and I love that stuff.  Plus beautiful textures to use in photographs.  These two are up for anything.  So we did everything.  And could have done even more if that pesky sun didn’t have to go down.

You know the photography trend to photograph couples/ families sitting or playing on a road?  Being kind of anxiety prone anyway, looking at those shots always freak me out and make me nervous.  Here is a different (safer) approach using a painting by mural artist Blue Sky…  IMG_5346
